Hey there! I'm Charatzoglou Michalis, a Greek based software engineer, with never-stopping love for learning. I have a B.Sc./M.Eng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Thessaly and M.Sc. in Data and Web Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a sholarship from DeepMind for the academic year 2022-2023.

I am also founder of Ahoy!, a small business in Greece that offers boat rentals in Vourvourou, Halkidiki.

I'm currently working full-time for Data and Web Science Lab , an active research group engaged in research and innovation on ICT complex data science and engineering technologies, offering end-to-end multi way and multi scope analytics.

My last project was "Wattwise: AI driven predictive analytics and energy consumption monitoring" which is a platform designed to integrate consumption data, enhance user engagement, and offer advanced forecasting capabilities using deep learning models like Transformers. Wattwise is available on wattwise.csd.auth.gr. I have also multiple projects that i am running for hobby or for my personal use. You can find them on my GitHub.

Outside of my work-life, I love activities with sea and nature, like swimming, hiking, and camping. I also enjoy reading books, watching movies, and playing video games.
